The Elephant and Friends - Moral Story for Kids
One day, a lonely elephant walked into the forest.
 He looked around and said,
“I want to make some friends!”

He saw a monkey on a tree.
“Hello, Monkey! Will you be my friend?” asked the elephant.
The monkey said, “You are too big. You cannot swing on trees like me.”

The elephant felt sad, but he kept walking.

Soon, he saw a rabbit.
“Hello, Rabbit! Will you be my friend?” he asked.
The rabbit said, “You are too big. You cannot play in my tiny burrow.”

The elephant sighed and walked away.

Then, he saw a frog.
“Hello, Frog! Will you be my friend?” asked the elephant.
The frog said, “You are too heavy. You cannot jump like me.”

The elephant felt very lonely.

The next day, all the animals were running in fear.
The elephant stopped a bear and asked,
 “What’s happening?”
The bear said, “A tiger is coming to eat us!”

The elephant ran to the tiger and said,
 “Please don’t hurt my friends!”
But the tiger roared, “Go away!”

The elephant picked up the tiger with his strong trunk
and threw him far into the forest.

All the animals clapped and cheered.
“Elephant, you are our friend! You saved us!”

The elephant was so happy.
 Now he had many friends.
