One day, a crow found a yummy piece of cheese.
The crow sat on a tree branch, holding the cheese in her beak.

A hungry fox came by. He saw the crow with the cheese.
“Oh, I want that cheese!” thought the fox.

The fox smiled and said,
“Hello, beautiful crow! You look so pretty today.”

The crow felt happy.
Then the fox said,
“Your voice must be very sweet. Can you sing for me?”

The crow wanted to show her voice.
She opened her beak to sing—
but plop!
the cheese fell down!

The clever fox quickly grabbed the cheese and ran away.
The poor crow was sad.

Moral of the Story:

Don’t trust sweet words. Be careful of flattery.
