Once, there was a man who loved gold.
He was very rich, but he never spent his money.
He did not buy food, clothes, or toys.
He only wanted to keep his gold safe.

He put all his gold inside and covered it with soil.
Then, he came back every night to look at it.
He counted his gold again and again.
It made him happy just to see it.
